Russian oil pipeline operator Transneft will soon consider if it is still expedient to attempt further cooperation with Bulgaria on the trans-Balkan Burgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline project, Transneft President Nikolai Tokarev said on Friday. Tokarev's statement comes after a week ago the Bulgarian government delayed further the controversial project for the Burgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline, returning its environmental assessment report for the second time to the Trans-Balkan Pipeline company.
